ISSA offers both individual and family counselling through a spiritual and cultural compatible paradigm and Canadian legal framework. Counselling areas include marriage, grief, divorce, inter-generational conflict, domestic violence, and addictions.

Sector Specific Education and Trainings
ISSA provides seminars and workshops to both Muslim and mainstream organizations and communities. These programs are designed and developed to cater to specific issues of the organization/community and include topics such as Islam 101, Canadian Muslims and marriage. ISSA also provides information and training to mainstream organizations that increase their ability to provide culturally competent services.
National Conferences
ISSA holds several national conferences each year as a way for the wider community of Canadians to connect and network over pressing issues. ISSA holds conferences that cover topics such as Human Rights, Islamophobia, Muslim-Indigenous Relations, Youth Unity, Mental Health and Truth & Reconciliation.
